Itza Fuertes

I joined Maynard Marks as a project manager after migrating to New Zealand from Hamburg, Germany, where I previously worked as an Assistant Project Manager at an international design and consultancy organisation for natural and built assets. 

My background in Urban Planning has given me meaningful insights into large scale multi-unit residential, mixed use and commercial projects. I’ve delivered fit-out, remediation and new build projects for developers and private clients, project managing all stages of the project lifecycle – from concept to completion. 

If you work with me you can expect me to communicate clearly and to work well both independently and as part of a team. I’m highly organised, able to handle multiple tasks, successfully mitigate risks and meet tight deadlines while delivering quality output.

I’m passionate about sustainable urban development that enables and supports the creation of healthy and high-quality environments for current and future generations. I intimately understand the connections between spaces, people and the environment and apply this knowledge to my projects wherever possible.
