Maynard Marks has an opportunity for an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our Environmental Services team with a focus on asbestos management in our Auckland office. This role offers excellent training and career development opportunities within a supportive and professional environment.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Asbestos management surveys.

  • Asbestos refurbishment and demolition surveys.

  • Asbestos Management Plans.

  • Detailed scopes of works for asbestos removal projects.

  • Asbestos air monitoring.

  • Site visits and travel required in the North Island.

  • Preparing and delivering technical reports.

What you will bring to the team

The successful candidate will hold an Environmental Science degree and/or P402 asbestos qualification. A Licenced Asbestos Assessor is highly desirable. In addition, you should understand asbestos-related legislation and regulations, have the ability to gain security clearances, and hold a New Zealand Driver Licence.
