An experienced Building Surveyor with significant knowledge of the New Zealand building industry having been involved in the sector for over 37 years. I have worked on a wide variety of projects and building types including residential housing, multi-storey construction, commercial and industrial buildings involving a multitude of construction methods and materials.
My areas of specialisation include building investigations, earthquake surveys, expert witness, design review, and asbestos assessment and management for local government, bodies corporate, commercial building owners, insurance companies, construction professionals and the general public. As leader of our Christchurch office and Christchurch-based building surveying team, I’m responsible for developing, and overseeing, multi-disciplinary teams to help clients understand and manage building performance issues as well as how to maximise their building’s life.
