Auckland
I worked as an architect for over 15 years in South Africa, before becoming a building surveyor. This included designing commercial, residential and industrial projects for a large practice and running my own business. The building surveying profession allows me to understand construction technologies and get first hand insight into building issues in New Zealand so that I can support the implementation of high performing, sustainable and healthy building solutions.
You can expect me to offer a professional, high-quality service. I’m thorough and intent on understanding and resolving issues in the best way possible. My architectural background has taught me creative approaches to problem solving and to be meticulous in the way I go about my work and assess buildings.
Everything in the building process is interlinked and so I believe it’s important to have a good understanding of the big picture. My postgraduate diploma in construction comprised project management and quantity surveying modules, offering me a holistic understanding of a broad range of projects.
I’ve completed a Greenstar Practitioner course and Passive House qualification, in order to expand my service offering to clients.
Everyone deserves to live, work and play in a healthy environment. I’m passionate about playing my part to ensure they get to do so.
