Return to all projectsAfter assessing the extent of flood damage to the building fabric and fitout, we defined an appropriate scope of reinstatement works in accordance with current building code. This involved reviewing claim documentation and council records, targeted site inspections and timber and plasterboard moisture testing. Technical and evidential reporting was produced to support the insurer’s decision-making process.
In addition to assessment services, Maynard Marks was engaged to project manage the reinstatement works. This included overseeing contractual arrangements, monitoring progress on site, reviewing costs and claims, regular scheduling and proactive communication with the contractor whilst providing regular reporting to ensure the works were aligned with the agreed scope and requirements of the insurance claim.
"Frances, from Maynard Marks, did an outstanding job of getting us back up and running after flood damage. She understood the importance to our business to do this work as fast as possible and did a great job of corralling resources.
Frances worked well alongside us, was pragmatic, communicated effectively and had a good sense of fun which was helpful in stressful times.”
