The Project:
Our Building Surveying team was appointed to deliver Schedule of Condition Surveys and reports for multiple residential properties neighbouring the land being developed by LEAD Alliance.
To ensure a fair, transparent approach to potential property impacts, LEAD Alliance sought to create a thorough, unbiased baseline of the properties' existing condition before construction commenced. Our condition surveys (also known as dilapidation surveys) focused on elements that could be subject to damage from construction such as cracking or structural shifts.
Our Value Add:
Through our surveys, we delivered a clear and objective snapshot of each property's condition. The reports not only identified pre-existing issues, but also highlighted areas that could be at risk during redevelopment. This baseline documentation gave LEAD Alliance a valuable tool to proactively manage risks and respond to any emerging construction-related damage with appropriate measures.
