Samisoni Manu

Samisoni is an Environmental Consultant and Licensed Asbestos Assessor with extensive experience assessing a wide range of buildings for asbestos containing materials (ACMs). He is responsible for undertaking asbestos management surveys, demolition and refurbishment surveys and asbestos management plans. He also has in depth experience with air monitoring, asbestos clearance assessments for removal work, risk and method statement reports, and reviewing asbestos removal control plans.

Prior to joining Maynard Marks, Samisoni worked for a contractor removing asbestos from buildings including schools, commercial and residential buildings, whilst studying. As such, Samisoni is very well equipped to understand the various removal methods and risks involved when working with asbestos. This experience helps him when liaising with asbestos removal contractors, undertaking clearance inspections, identifying ACMs during various asbestos surveys and managing asbestos removal projects.

Samisoni is an authority in the use of cloud based asbestos software, Alpha Tracker, having used this tool extensively to conduct asbestos surveys and produce reports. His experience has enabled him to assist numerous clients, with large property portfolios, to transfer over their current asbestos data in to a more user friendly format via the Alpha Tracker tool.

Enthusiastic and personable, Samisoni brings to the team excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict-resolution skills. With a detail-oriented and proactive approach, he contributes to our team’s success through hard work, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

  • Affiliate Member of the Faculty of Asbestos Management of Australia & New Zealand (FAMANZ)
  • Bachelor of Science majoring in Biomedical Science
  • Licensed Asbestos Assessor
  • IP402 Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings
  • IP404 Air Monitoring, Clearance Inspections and Reoccupation following the Removal of Asbestos.
