Will completed his Bachelor of Building Surveying in the UK in 2014 and then worked in account management roles before moving to New Zealand. He joined Maynard Marks in 2018 after spending a year getting hands-on building experience on construction sites. His account management background has given him excellent client management skills. Will is adept at dealing with clients in stressful situations, putting them at ease, looking after their interests and making himself readily available to answer questions and/or concerns that may arise throughout project delivery

At Maynard Marks, Will works on a range of project types including building defect assessments, weathertightness investigating and reporting, asbestos surveying and sampling, air monitoring (both asbestos and non-asbestos related) and is often involved in determination processes and historical building compliance issues.

Will is highly motivated and is a quick learner, who produces high-quality, timely reports. Will recently completed, and successfully passed, the BOHS IP402: Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings training, and has plans to complete further asbestos-related training in future. This is an area in which he has developed a real interest.

Will will also shortly begin working towards becoming a Registered Building Surveyor through the New Zealand Institute of Building Surveyors (NZIBS).
