Liam’s passion for the construction industry stems from his childhood and his family also working in the sector. Liam enjoys the challenges of understanding the performance of buildings and their various elements, resulting in the ability for him to provide valuable and robust advice to his clients.
Liam graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2016, with a first class honours degree in Building Surveying. As part of his studies, he investigated and reported on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of George Town and Melaka in Malaysia, in collaboration with the Construction Industry Development Board of Malaysia and Universiti Malaysia Pahang. Conservation of heritage sites is something which Liam is passionate about.
At Maynard Marks Liam provides a wide range of building surveying work for commercial property owners, schools, developers, bodies corporate and others. This includes weathertightness investigation and reporting, dilapidation/schedules of condition survey and reports, insurance assessment and reinstatement.
Liam is an ambitious individual who takes pride in his work. He values the importance of providing a quality service to his clients and adopts a proactive approach to ensure each client’s requirements have been met. He is highly motivated by the opportunity to work in a collaborative manner with other industry professionals as part of a successful project team. Liam is committed to the growth for a sustainable future in the built environment.
Liam is currently working towards becoming a Chartered Building Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
