Tim regularly provides building surveying advice and asbestos consulting services to clients, whether that be related to defects, repairs or maintenance requirements. He is also regularly involved in Ministry of Education projects in the Wellington region including developing 10 Year Property Plans (10YPP), undertaking condition surveys, and provides risk and claims investigation and advice to insurers.

Tim’s prior experience includes running a consultancy where, in addition to management tasks, he also regularly provided due diligence surveys on both residential and commercial properties, asbestos consulting, condition assessments and building defect investigatory work. As a result of this work, Tim is highly experienced and prides himself on being detail-focused and able to work accurately at a fast pace.

Having also worked as both an Operations Manager and General Manager for a range of businesses, Tim understands the impact of different business drivers and is able to prioritise effort and resource where it’s most needed.

Before starting any project, Tim makes certain he understands the client’s needs, wants and timeframes and strives to achieve these. He ensures he maintains communication with clients so they are kept up to date. His goal on all projects is to deliver a positive user experience and exceed expectations.

Tim is a Transitional Member of the New Zealand Institute of Building Surveyors (NZIBS) and a Member of the New Zealand Institute of Building Inspectors.
